    Claire from Suffolk Asked

Morning we’ve had to book two separate tables for our group of 9 for dining, can I email restaurants and ask for the tables to be pushed together rather than sitting seperately ??

    Hello Claire!

We invite you to relax, lets pull up a chair as the Disney Parks Moms Panel proudly presents your answer! Dining at Disney is what my husband enjoys most! He never asks which FastPass+ reservations we have, but will always ask where and when our dining reservations have been made. This past spring we visited the parks with our extended family, making us a party of 8. Since half of the party decided to travel last minute, we were unable to modify one of our dining reservations. We were able to split our party up into two groups so that we had two separate reservations around the same time!

I did ask the Enchantress, by phone, if we were able to combine the reservations as one. However, they were unable to because there were no available reservations that fit our party’s needs. From my personal experience, I have found and was told that it is up to the restaurant’s discretion to be able to join reservations and tables. My best advice is to continue checking My Disney Experience online or through the mobile app, for a reservation that will suit your entire party. If you are unable to find one, keep the two you already have!

We went to our selected restaurant, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, a few hours before our reservation time to let them know we’d like those two reservations to be sat together. They were able to make a note of it so that when we returned later that day, they were able to seat us in one car-shaped booth! Just check with the restaurant before your reservation time to see if they can make those accommodations for you!

    Bon Appétit!
