    Jenna from surrey Asked

Morning, we are staying off site for 17 nights in April but for my birthday we are thinking of staying 1 night on site. How will the fast past/ADR bookings then work with the mixture? Will we get magic bands? Can we park for free for 2 days/1 night? Thanks

    Hi Jenna,

There are many benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

If you do decide to stay at a Disney Resort hotel for 1-night during your 17-night holiday, you would receive complimentary MagicBands upon check-in at your Disney Resort hotel.

You would also be able to take advantage of complimentary transportation and standard parking throughout the theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs and hotel areas at no extra cost for the day that you check-in to your Disney Resort hotel (after check-in) and the day that you check-out.

Likewise, as far as FastPass+ selections are concerned, you would be able to make FastPass+ selections at 60 days out for both the day that you check-in to your Disney Resort hotel and the day that you check-out with a valid ticket. You would be able to make FastPass+ selections for all other dates during your stay 30 days in advance with a valid ticket.

Advance Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance. The only difference with regards to those Guests who are staying at a Disney Resort hotel is that they are able to make Advance Dining Reservations at 180 days out for up to the first 10 days of their stay. As you are only potentially thinking about staying at a Disney Resort hotel for just 1-night, this doesn't really impact you at all.

I do hope that this has answered your questions. If I have missed anything or you are still unsure, please don't hesitate to stop by to ask me another question.

I can tell you that my family have done many split-stays over the years and haven't ever encountered any issues because of the mixture.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
