morning, we are staying at fort wilderness . i would like to know if there is a laundry service for 2 reasons, bedding(we bring bedding and bed for son (severe dustmite allergy/asthma), needs to be washed a lot especially in high humidity. also clothes..

Hello Hanneke and a warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is one of my families most favourite Disney Resorts!  I've been so lucky to have stayed in the beautifully rustic Cabins several times over the yEars and as the parent to a child with both asthma and eczema I can totally relate to your valid allergy concerns for your own dear son.
I'm super happy to share that yes indeed there are Laundry Services at The Fort and you'll find conveniently placed self-service laundry rooms complete with the necessary laundry product vending machines within the Comfort Stations on each camping loop and also close by to Wilderness (or quiet) Swimmin' Pool.  Plus as a super time saver Guests can access their particular laundry timings via the Laundry View monitoring system which you can check out here.
It may also be helpful to know that when staying in any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Guests with allergies can request a Special Clean.  To discuss your families particular needs and to make a Special Clean request I suggest speaking with a helpful Cast Member around 1 week prior to check-in by dialling the telephone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.
Wishing you and your dear son a pixie dusted & totally allergy free upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
