    Shannon from NY Asked

On the morning of our departure our flight is at 11:20am. I know we would leave the resort at approximately 8:20am but I am wondering if we can still do Resort airline check-in? Can we get our boarding passes 24 hrs prior from the airline check in desk?

    Hi Shannon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Resort Airline Check-in has certainly made our travel a lot easier!

Given that the current listed times for resort airline check-in are 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon seven days per week, I suggest that you check-in and get boarding passes the morning of your flight because when you check your bags, they are sent to the airport. Be sure to get your checked bags to the resort airline check-in desk at least three hours prior to departure. Remember to keep all important medications and other valuable items with you in your carry-on luggage.

When you go to check-in, all adults will need to be present at the resort airline check-in desk with government-issued identification or a passport. Be sure you take note of the participating airlines and pay any necessary airline baggage fees. We have always been able to pay those airline baggage fees at the resort airline check-in desk, but double-check at the desk the day before you are scheduled to depart.

On our departure days, we like to eat breakfast before we leave, but since you are departing rather early and should have time at the airport, you may want to eat after you get settled at the airport. I also have occasionally purchased a last minute gift at the airport merchandise stores. Although leaving three hours prior to departure time seems excessive, we have never found our wait at the airport to be too long.

Remember to review the instructions for paying baggage fees for resort airline check-in.

Shannon, I trust your trip will be filled with pixie dust and laughter!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
