Hello. We have a 14 months old boy and we would like to visit disney world in the next year and probably in may. We have visited wdw twice already but this will be the first time with a baby . For That age is it better wdw or disney cruise?thx

    Hi Gino!

When we had our first child we couldn’t wait to bring him to the Walt Disney World Resort. We had these visions of an absolutely amazing magical time. We couldn’t wait for him to meet Mickey Mouse, fly on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and have his first haircut at Harmony Barbershop in Magic Kingdom Park. I have to say that we arrived with tears in our eyes. Our hearts were overflowing with joy and his excitement couldn’t be contained. He was in awe of the balloons on Main Street, U.S.A. and his face lit up when he saw Mickey Mouse for the very first time

With all that being said traveling with a baby isn’t always easy. We have found that you must follow the schedule that you do when you are at home. We feed our kids at the same time, nap them at the same time, and even try to stick to our normal bedtime.

We also set sail on the Disney Dream with our son when he was just 10 months old. I have to say it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. It was very relaxing, super fun thanks to all of the fun on board, and I feel that it was easy because there wasn’t an expectation of having to be anywhere at any certain time.

When you are trying to decide which vacation is best for your family, you really have to sit down and consider what is important to you and what you are hoping to accomplish. If it is your goal to be able to experience soaring on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, then Disney World is the place for you. If you hope for a more relaxing vacation filled with the ocean breeze and fun in the sand then take the Disney Cruise. If you are like me and can’t decide, maybe you can do both! A couple of days at the Walt Disney World resort followed by a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream is my absolute favorite vacation!

Whichever vacation you choose I hope that have an unforgettable time!
