Just over a month til our fun begins! My next question is...We have a BBB appt in the am for our birthday girl, then lunch ADR at Akershus. How do we get from DTD to Epcot?

    Hi, Charlene!

You are definitely in the "too excited to sleep" mode now - so exciting!

It sounds like you have a super special day planned for your Birthday Girl. I'm thrilled to hear that you already have reservations at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall; those experiences are fit for a Princess!

When it comes to Downtown Disney, the buses don't go directly to the Theme Parks from there so you'll need to take a bus to one of the Resort hotels then use another mode of transportation to get over to Epcot.

The fastest way is to take a bus over to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel where you can either walk to Epcot or take a boat. The boat might take you a little longer than walking because there are several stops along the way. If you have a few extra minutes to spare, it's a fun ride!

You could also take a boat from Downtown Disney over to Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa where you'll be able to take a bus to Epcot.

Those two are just a couple of examples; there are so many different ways to travel around the Walt Disney World Resort! I like to use the Transportation Wizard at OurLaughingPlace.com for figuring out the fastest ways to travel when we don't have our car with us; it's mobile-friendly too!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question, Charlene, and I sure hope this helps! Please let us know if we can assist with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
