My 6th month old son LOVES moana! he will instantly stop crying to hear her sing. My wife and I are planning a trip so we can be in Disney world on April 27th for his first birthday. Are there any moana themed areas or meet and greets we could take him to

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Robert ~

Your trip will be here before you know it and I love that you are planning ahead to celebrate your son's first birthday. That is super adorable that your son will stop crying when he hears Moana sing! She certainly has a beautiful voice.

Right now, Moana is only appearing during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evenings which is a special ticketed event. Other than that, she isn't currently appearing anywhere else at the Walt Disney World Resort. Having said that, Disney is always keeping us on our toes so I would suggest keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding if and when Moana will return. She is super popular so I know that a lot of Guests would love to see her added to the characters that regularly appear for meet and greets at the theme parks or a dining location.

If you are looking for Moana souvenEARs, head to Moana Mercantile located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The whole resort is filled with the spirit of the South Pacific so you feel close to Moana. You may also enjoy dining at 'Ohana or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended at both of these dining locations.

There is a segment that includes Moana in Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom park. You will want to make sure you are on the front side of Cinderella Castle to be able to see the projections shown on the castle.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
