    Hi, Jennifer!

I’m so happy you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort with your little ones! I’m a big fan of introducing kids to the magic of Disney early, so my own son’s first visit was when he was just a few months old.

There are lots of attractions even your youngest will be able to ride with you. If there’s no minimum height requirement posted at an attraction, he can definitely ride it. You can also check out the interactive attractions list online to see exactly what your 2-year-old is tall enough ride. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by just how much the whole family will be able to experience together!  When my son was an infant, I often used a baby carrier too and would even leave him strapped to my chest for the ride if possible, which meant my hands were free to take pictures. I did this on rides like “it’s a small world” and Pirates of the Caribbean, just to name a couple.

Keep in mind that Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement may take turns experiencing attractions using the Rider Switch program. It allows an adult (and older children) to ride while another adult waits with younger children. You then "switch" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting all over again. The specific procedure can vary depending on the attraction, though, so it’s best to ask the Cast Member what steps you should follow.

Yes, adults can explore Mickey’s Toontown right alongside their kids! I bet your 2-year-old will love visiting Mickey and Minnie’s houses. Signatures are free of charge from all Disney characters who offer them! All you have to do is find your character of choice and wait your turn for a chance to meet them and request a photo and autograph.

I hope this helps, Jennifer, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
