    Sarah from CA Asked

My 17 month old doesn't like to be held for too long. I'm worried about waiting in lines with her struggling to run. Do I have to leave the stroller at the ride entrance? I'd like to keep her in it as long as possible.

    Hi Sarah!
I totally understand your concern about waiting in an attraction queue with an active 17 month old.
My 16-month old Toby is exactly the same! The only way I feel in control of the little dude is when I strap him into his stroller and let him enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth from the comfort of his seat!!
However, I've been able to manage bringing him along to several attractions without the stroller.
At this time, strollers are not allowed in the queue unless you have a unique situation where the child has a disability and cannot be removed from their stroller.
So here's what I recommend for you:
*Purchase the new MaxPass Service as an add-on to your theme park ticket. With MaxPass, you can reserve FASTPASSES for your favorite attractions from the palm of your hand (using the Disneyland Mobile App).
Having a FASTPASS helps tremendously because your child will have fewer opportunities to run off since the path to enter the attraction will generally be clear, allowing you to have better control!
*Bring snacks with you to the line. It always helps when I'm holding Toby's hand as he attempts to run off and interrupt his effort with an appealing & yummy snack! Popcorn will usually do the trick.
    * Hang out at Mickey's Toontown early in the day so your little one can run around Donald's Boat, Goofy's Playhouse and the Chip & Dale Treehouse. This area is small and you're able to keep an eye on your little one while giving her the freedom to run & get a little tired before heading to the next adventure!
Have a Magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
