does the monorail cost anything if you don't stay in a Disney resorts? so we can travel to different parks for free??

    Welcome Alexander ~

That is a great question. I sometimes stay off property with family but a ride on the monorail is always a must do every visit for our family.

There are some great transportation options available at the Walt Disney World Resort. All Guests, whether you are staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or off property as a day Guest, are welcome to take full advantage of the complimentary transportation options. That means that you can ride the monorails, buses, and boats for free. Yay!

There is an exception to the transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Only Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are able to take advantage of Disney's Magical Express which takes Guests to and from the Orlando International Airport.

There is a great new service that you may want to take advantage of during your visit. Express Transportation is available to Guests with an Annual Pass or those that have the park hopper option on their ticket. There is a fee for this service but if you plan to park hop between theme parks, it can save you a lot of time. This service will pick you up inside a theme park and take you directly to the next theme park you plan to visit without any stops along the way. You are dropped off inside the next theme park so you don't have to wait in line to enter the park. This is perfect if you plan to visit another park for a dining reservation as it cuts down on the time to travel and enter the parks.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
