    Barry Asked

Hi Mona Leigh, We are taking our two year old to Disney World. What are the best attractions for her age group? What are the can't miss attractions that will be interactive for her? Thanks

    Hi Barry,

I remember taking my daughter to Walt Disney World when she was 2 years old, and watching her toddle about the theme parks, wide-eyed with wonder. Let me suggest a couple of attractions at each Walt Disney World theme park that I think your daughter will enjoy.

Starting at Magic Kingdom, your little one will probably enjoy most of the attractions in Fantasyland. Particularly, do not miss a spin on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, where she can help Dumbo fly in a circle and see the theme park from a higher vantage point. Also, try it's a small world. It is a classic gentle boat ride.

In Epcot, take a ride on the Seas with Nemo & Friends, where you will ride through Nemo's adventures including through a real aquarium. From there you can explore the amazing aquarium. Another nice boat ride is Living with the Land. Here, a boat floats through scenes about farming, as well as working greenhouses.

Disney's Hollywood Studios has some really fun attractions for little ones. Be sure to see Playhouse Disney Junior - Live on Stage. This high energy show encourages little ones to get up and dance as they watch their favorite characters from the Disney Junior channel. Another show that she may enjoy would be Beauty and Beast - Live on Stage, which features a retelling of Belle and the Beast's story with colorful costumes and lively musical numbers.

Finally, at Disney's Animal Kingdom, you cannot miss Kilimanjaro Safaris, where you ride through an African savannah and may see exotic animals such as giraffes, lions, and zebras. Also, take a ride on the Wilderness Express train out to Conservation Station. There, visit Affection Section, which includes a petting area with some rare breeds.

I hope that this gives you some ideas for planning your vacation with your little one, Barry! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
