Hi Moms!We are non resort guests w/ out a dining plan. My boys (ages 6 & 3) are picky eaters. If we go to any of the counter or table service restaurants (excluding any character meals or buffets), are they able to share a meal? 1 kids meal...2 plates

Hi Mary! I bet your boys are getting excited about your upcoming stay to Walt Disney World!

Your boys can definitely share a meal at any quick-service dining location. My daughter is also a picky eater and her and I often share a meal.

Most table service locations will allow the kids to share, with the exception of buffet dining. If a table service location is a buffet or all-you-care-to-eat, then each guest in the party must purchase a meal. However, since your little guy is only three, you may have more leeway. The dining policies state that children UNDER the age of three can share a meal at no charge, however since your son is three, it's a gray area. I'm sure many establishments will allow him to share with you or your six your old since he is just three. You can just explain to the waiter that your son is only three and a picky eater, and I'm sure they will be happy to accommodate by allowing you to order one meal and bringing two plates.

I hep you have a magical stay!

    Magically,
    Stacy
