Hi Moms!We have magic bands from a trip we took last year. Just wondering if my reservation for our upcomming trip will link up. We want to head to the park as soon as we arrive, prior to check in. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Amy!  So glad to hear you are coming back soon to make many more unforgettable Disney Parks memories with your family. You should have no problem using your previous MagicBands to start your vacation as soon as possible. You did not mention if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel this year. If you are, then you will be able to customize a new set of MagicBands that will be waiting for you to pick up when you check in. If you would rather just use your set from last year, there is now an option within the customization area to decline new MagicBands. The battery in the MagicBands is said to last around two years, so it should be ready for fun when you are!

With MyMagic+, Guests are able to streamline all of their plans into one location, making even multiple trip plans easy as could be. There are just a few things you will want to check on to make sure everything goes well. You will first want to ensure that your new Walt Disney World Resort reservation is linked to the same My Disney Experience account you used during your previous trip. You will then need to confirm that your new theme park tickets are linked correctly to your account. How about your FastPass+ selections and dining reservations? If all of your new plans are linked to that same My Disney Experience account, then you should be ready to create your family's Disney story!

If you do have any issues with use of the previous MagicBands, stop by and see a Cast Member at the Check-In area of your Resort or in Guest Services at any of the theme parks or Disney Springs. I hope you have a magical vacation and please let us know if you have any further questions.
