Hi moms.Traveling down from PNW 10/21-27/2012. Sadly our 10 yo fractured multiple bones in his foot Wednesday, now in cast, our question will he be able to go on rides and attraction's we have already purchased tickets and Mickey's Halloween party.

    Hi Amy!

Oh, your poor son!  It's the worst getting sick or injured right before a vacation, especially to Walt Disney World!  Never fear, as long his Doc says it's ok and he can get himself into the ride vehicles, he won't be limited to what he can do.  Space Mountain may be tricky, but I would still try.  Ask for the front seat because there is more leg room.  If you go on Splash Mountain, cover the cast with a plastic bag or poncho to keep from getting wet.  You may want to look into renting a wheelchair or ECV during your vacation to limit his walking as well.

Your family will still have a wonderful time and will only add to the memories!

    Have a magical day!
