Moms, My girlfriend and I are going to Disney in October as a getaway trip and plan on proposing to her. Was wondering if you had any ideas to really make this a special? We have been going for quite a while and want this time to be amazing. Thanks

Ahhhhh! Zach! This is so exciting. I can't imagine a better place to start your own happily ever after.

If you want to turn this into something truly magical, I suggest enlisting the specialists. Disney's Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons can help you pull off the engagement of her dreams. Whether you want something intimate, or you are hoping to make a statement that will have a whole theme park full of guests clapping when she says yes, they can make it happen. With ideas that span all four theme parks, the resorts, or even the water parks, they can help you create a memory you won't forget.

I admit, I cry every time I watch an engagement in front of Cinderella Castle. You can do it during the day, or for a bigger "bang", close the night out on one knee immediately following the fireworks. It is the perfect fairy tale beginning.

There are also some fantastic dining options. My favorite for a proposal is the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Try to book your dining reservation here about an hour prior to the start of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. If you time it correctly, you can propose as the fireworks are going off behind you, but even if you finish early or don't have a window seat, you can head to the observation deck during the fireworks for the big event.

I can't recommend enough that you enlist the help of the cast members. They will help you make this the magical moment you are probably dreaming about. And the photo pass photographers only need a quick heads up to help capture everything.

    Good luck!
