Hi moms, My family and I are coming to WDW for the first time in October 2015. My daughter will be 5 and my son will be 3. Are there any "must-do's" that I should pay attention to? I don't know if we'll be able to back soon so I want to make thi

    Hi Shanna,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. You should study every park map; see videos, read reviews about all the attractions on the web. That way, you will be able to decide what is a must do with your kids. Beside the WDW page, I like to use Touring Plans when I am preparing myself for my own trip. Use the FastPass+ system for the major attractions and make all the restaurant reservations. For your daughter, see if she would like to be transformed in a princess for a day. She is probably is going to say yes, so book her an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You have to do, at least, one character meal. My recommendation would be Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. At those places, usually, we get to see Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. That way you will be pleasing both of them. Your boy also can be transformed into a pirate at  The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom. Both The Pirates League and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique must be reserved in advance. Since it’s October, you can attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, on select nights at Magic Kingdom. You can’t go wrong with this event with your kids. Bring a nice costume for them or matching shirts for the entire family and the 2015 treat or trick it’s going to be unforgettable. Read previous questions answered from all panelist it is a good source of information too.

    Have fun at WDW!
