Hi Moms! I was hoping to try an Xmas themed tour/activity my 11/16 y boys would enjoy. We did all the pirate stuff last year, aloha dinner show, mnsshp. This year plan xmas in room celebration, xmas party. Tia!

    Hi Amber,

It sure sounds like you're going to have a great time enjoying the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

There are so many wonderful Christmas activities to experience during your visit including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Holidays Around the World at Epcot, the Candlelight Processional and so much more. Be sure to allow some time for visiting a selection of the Deluxe Disney Resort hotels during your trip to take in their beautiful Christmas decorations especially Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa where you'll find an amazing life-size gingerbread house.

I would recommend booking a Holiday Sleigh Ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as an additional Christmas themed activity for you to enjoy during your stay. Each sleigh is decorated with lights and garlands and your journey will take you through secluded woodland beauty. My family experienced a Holiday Sleigh Ride a couple of years ago and it was one of the highlights of our trip - we all really enjoyed it!

Holiday Sleigh Rides are available during the month of December, depart from the main entrance of Crockett's Tavern at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and fit up to 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 small children). Each horse-drawn holiday sleigh ride costs $79 and trots along for 25 minutes. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-PLAY, or (407) 939-7529.

Wishing you a wonderful trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
