Hi. I am a mom and I have a 2 year old. This will be her first trip to Disney world and I’m trying to pick the right resort for her. I was considering Caribbean Beach with the pull down trundle bed but I’m not sure. Do you have any suggestions?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie!

Oh, my goodness! Planning your little one's first trip to Walt Disney World? So exciting!

I'm glad that you're asking about which Walt Disney World Resort hotel will be practically perfect in every way for your stay, as each resort has its own personality. (For the record, my son has used those child-size pull-down beds and was quite comfy!)

When my kids were little, access to snacks, Quick Service Dining, and fun features such as playgrounds and kiddie pools were all must-haves, so choosing resorts that check all of those boxes is a great start.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one that has all of these, with both Centertown Market and Centertown Market Grab & Go offering conveniently-located food and beverages, and the added bonus of the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area plus the playground on Caribbean Cay. Another plus is easy access to Disney Skyliner, a beautiful, swift ride to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios

My son and I love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, which offers Riverside Mill Food Court and 3.5 acres of water fun at Ol' Man Island, as well as leisurely Walt Disney World Water Transportation to Disney Springs.

Your little one is 2, so you may want to consider resorts that are closest to the heart of the magic: Magic Kingdom Park. Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa all provide easy access to Magic Kingdom while also allowing your Sleeping Beauty to remain asleep in her stroller as you head back "home" to your resort via Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation.

One final suggestion is Disney's Art of Animation Resort. What's unique about this location is the Family Suites, over-the-top theming, and The Big Blue Pool (you can hear Finding Nemo characters underwater!)

As you look through the options for your Princess's first visit, be sure to send more questions our way. We love to help!
