A Ride in the Teacups

So my mom wants to get annual passes for my two younger siblings but is not going to the parks with them, I am. If I put the passport contract under my name, can I use her card to pay the monthly payments? Or does the card have to have my name on it too?

Greetings, Alyssa! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question… I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Also, thank you for being a member of the Annual Passholder family! That’s so exciting, to have your siblings join you on your upcoming Disneyland Resort adventures! I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that the name on the Annual Passport contract must match the name on the credit card. Also, keep in mind that you must be 18-years-old to sign the Annual Passport contract, since it’s a legal document. In addition, if you are hoping to set up monthly payments, you must also be a California resident living in ZIP codes 90000-96199.

If you’re 18-years-old or older and are able to sign the contract, another idea is to use Disney Gift Cards to purchase your sibling’s Annual Passports. Your mom can purchase these ahead of time at a retail location, and then you can bring them to pay for your sibling’s Passports, and set up their contracts, if that’s easier for your family.

Now for the fun part – time to start planning! Here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date. Your siblings will love seeing tons of fun Characters in the Mickey and Friends Band-Tastic Cavalcade! Also, head over to Summer AP Corner in Paradise Gardens Park for Lion King-themed swag (while supplies last) and a fun photo opportunity! You can even pick up Annual Passport magnets for your siblings.

Wishing you a year full of Disney magic and fun with your siblings!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
