Hi! My mom uses the handicap pass for the rides. In May, we have a group of 13 people going to WDW. Will we be able to ride together using her pass? If we can't we probably won't even see each other. Thanks!

    Hi Michelle ~

May will be here before you know it and I'm happy to see you're planning ahead.  I am not sure of the date of your last visit but the Guest Assistance Card (GAC) has now been replaced by the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). If your Mom is unable to wait in a regular queue, you can request a DAS Card by going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks. A Cast Member will ask her some questions so they can best accommodate her specific needs. They'll take her photo for the DAS, go over the terms and conditions and have her sign the card.

Typically, Cast Members are allowed to approve the card for the Guest requiring the DAS and up to 5 additional Guests for a total of 6. For a party over 6, you can ask to speak with a manager to request an approval for more Guests if the Cast Member assisting you is not authorized to approve it.

Here is some additional information regarding the details of how the DAS works

I've also included is a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS .

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
