Hi Mom panel and thank you for all the wonderful help you all give. My question is we are going to Disney World in March of 2013, Could you recommend the best table service resturants for a 5 yr old boy to enjoy. We will have 4 dinners to plan. thank you!

    Hi Shena,

A highlight for any 5 year old is a Disney character meal. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort is the classic experience, they're all great. My personal favorites are Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom and Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom.

Other table service spots for boys include the T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe restaurants at Downtown Disney. These both have life-size animatronics moving during your meal. You may also want to consider the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here you sit in cars facing a screen playing clips from campy science fiction films from the 50s and 60s. It's a real hoot.

If you're interested in dinner and show, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ are also both popular with young boys.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
