My mom (who has a lung illness) wants to go w/ us to the MK in November but can't be outdoors for hours on end. I know that it won't be so hot in Nov which will help, but are there indoor sitting areas in each area of the MK where she can rest if needed?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kaylan ~

I have a special needs son and we are always on the lookout for places to take an indoor break from the heat or all of the stimulation from the parks.

In Town Square, there is some seating available in the Town Square Theater. Look for it towards the entrance to Tony's Town Square Restaurant.

In Tomorrowland, the Carousel of Progress is a great place to sit. You get to see an attraction while you take a break. There is usually a very short wait which is an added bonus. There is also Cosmic Ray's which is a quick service food location. We can usually find seating at the Tomorrowland Terrace as well. It is not fully indoors but offers a great view of Cinderella Castle.

In Fantasyland, Pinocchio Village Haus is a great quick service restaurant. There are tables with a view of Guests sailing off on their "it's a small world" voyage.

In Frontierland, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe provides indoor seating. She could also catch a show of the Country Bear Jamboree just next door.

In Liberty Square, the Hall of Presidents is an awesome attraction that provides a break from the parks. Columbia Harbour House is a nice place to grab a bite or relax. There is an area on the 2nd floor that provides a unique view of Liberty Square.

In Adventureland, Tortuga Tavern has both indoor and outdoor seating.

If you think that your Mom will have any trouble waiting in queues for attractions due to her lung illness, she may want to consider a Disability Access Service Card (DAS). Here is some information regarding how the DAS assists Guests with medical conditions in the parks.
