My mom is disabled & may not be up to going into the parks everyday during our trip. Is there any type of adult baby sitting service for adults with disabilities offered at the resort? Someone who can help her get dinner, etc. in a value resort?

    Hello Andrea!

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. We're thrilled to hear from you and hear you are planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Visiting the parks every day is enough to wear anyone out. My family often refers to Disney sleep as "super sleep." You may not get very much of it, but when you do, you're out like a light from all the walking and excitement. I knew Disney worked with Kids Night Out offering in-room baby sitting services for children at the Resorts, but thanks to an idea from my fellow panelist, Kay, I called them directly and found that they also offer adult care for disabled Guests when needed and for the same rate as their childcare services. You are able to book up to 3 months in advance, but the women I spoke with suggested you book at least 2-3 weeks out to ensure they are able to connect you with a caretaker familiar and comfortable with helping adults. Other options would be to bring someone extra from home with you or to look at sites such as care.com.

I wish you and your family a magical vacation, Andrea, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
