You mom and dads ROCK! Thanks for all you do! In making reservations abcouple of our faves were already booked up. Is there a cancelation list we can get on? Curious to hear what your favorite dining places are - as the disney experts :-)

    Hi there, Mendi!

Thanks so much for the kind words :)

There is, unfortunately, no cancellation list program through Disney Dining.

Your best bet is to get persistent! I have ... a ... "friend" ... who, when she really wants a reservation t a particular time or at a particular place, will make twice-daily calls to (407) WDW-DINE, and will occasionally spend loads of time refreshing her browser on the Disney Dining and Reservations site, hoping one of those will be magical.

It's often a good idea to make your first call early in the morning; many people who plan to cancel do so in the evening or at night, and the reservation systems are updated continuously to reflect the changes.

Don't feel funny about calling the Cast Members. They are well-aware of people's desires to get that prefect time and/or place, and they are more than willing to look and look and look for your requests -- and to offer a compromise should your original plan not quite come to fruition.

There is also the walk-up option; you can take a chance by actually walking up to the check-in podium of your desired restaurant to ask if there is availability. Take heart: this approach can be very successful!

Good luck; I know how locked in we can be to get that just-right meal experience. Again, patience and persistence can definitely lead to pixie dust!

    See you later, celebrator!
