Hello mom and dads coming to celebrate all 3 kids b-days for August. Is is possible to order a small cake so they can be surprised. Staying at AOA then at POR. Does either resort allow this. Thanks so much for all the helpful answers.

    Hi there, Christina!

Happy early birthday to your three children!

    You'll have a few options.

If you're going to serve the cake while dining at a Walt Disney World restaurant, simply tell the Cast Member when you arrive that you'll want to order a 6" cake. This will serve approximately five people, and will cost right around $21 plus tax.

For something a little more customized, when you arrive, give a call to the Cake-Ordering Hotline at 407-827-2253. Follow the prompts on the Cake Hotline to speak with someone at your resort about the availability of delivery.

If you are staying at a Resort that offers Private Dining, the cake can be delivered right to your Resort room. Right now, neither Disney's Art of Animation nor Disney's Port Orleans Riverside offers this service. It is possible that your cake could be sent to the lobby of your Resort, however.

To pick up a cake yourself, you'll need to contact the BoardWalk Bakery at Disney's BoardWalk Inn (please provide 48 hours’ notice for a custom cake; a standard 6-inch cake can be purchased with no notice).

Consider, too, a gift basket from the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts. They have a wide variety of birthday treats (large enough to be shared, in many cases), and certainly they are willing to work with you to customize an in-room celebration for your travel party. They can be reached at (407) WDW-GIFT.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
