    Margaret from NY Asked

I would like to take my mom to Citricos for dinner (we've never been there), my 25 year old son has autism only eats certain foods. Would he be able to get a hamburger and fries or chicken tenders at this restaurant? Thank you.

Hello Margaret and thanks for bringing such an important question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm quite sure that both your dear Mom and darling son would certainly enjoy dining within the inviting and cozy surroundings of Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during your upcoming visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
As the parent of a sometimes fussy eater I can totally relate to your dear son's discerning palate for only certain types of food and I'm happy to say that in my own past experiences of dining at Disney restaurants that our servers have been more than happy to offer my reluctant diner some suitable menu alternatives!
My top suggestion would be to have your son's Special Dietary Request added to your Advanced Dining Reservation at Citricos or perhaps even to email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days ahead of arrival.
Plus I also thought you may find this Disney Parks Blog article featuring my dear friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Jacqueline who kindly shares her multitude of magical experiences of travelling to Walt Disney World Resort with her autistic son Andrew.
Wishing all 3 of you a more than magical upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
