Hi, My mom, brother & I will be going to WDW for our very 1st visit 1 week after my birthday (June7-14, 2014) & staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. My question is: In hrs. how long does it take to get thru each of the parks including water parks

    Hi Veronica,

How exciting to be heading to Walt Disney World for the first time!  My family and I have been going to Walt Disney World for many years, and we still have not done everything that there is to do in all of the Disney theme parks.  For your first visit, you could easily spend from opening to closing in each theme park and still not accomplish all that there is to do.  But that is okay!  The beauty of Walt Disney World is that there is so much to do that there is something for everyone.

My suggestion for you is to start by planning one full day for each of the Disney theme parks, and a day for a water park.  Each day, head to the theme park at opening time.  As guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, during which a Disney theme park is open early or late only for Walt Disney World resort guests.  If you are heading to a park on an Extra Magic Hours morning, consider the Extra Magic Hours time as the opening time.  Either way, try to arrive about 30 minutes before the park is scheduled to open.  This way, you can explore and ride popular attractions first thing, before the crowds get heavier later in the day.  Also, take advantage of Disney's FastPass+ to book your times for popular attractions before your vacation.  This way, you can experience those attractions with a shorter wait time.  Plan to stay in the parks for as long as you like each day, but know that you probably will not be able to experience all that Walt Disney World has to offer in one trip.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Veronica.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
