My mom and brother are planning on taking a trip to Disney World. They want me to plan their vacation if possible. Am I able to connect my account to my mom’s disney account and plan their trip for them/ book the trip, get fastpasses, etc? If so, how?

    Hi Madilyn!

We are delighted that you brought this question to us! You will be happy to know that you can most certainly plan their vacation for them as long as you are connected in My Disney Experience through the My Family & Friends list.

Since it sounds like your mom has her own My Disney Experience account, you just need to connect with her through My Disney Experience and then share all plans (including PhotoPass photos). To do so, go to the My Family & Friends List and click on Add a Guest. You can choose to add a guest in a few ways. I usually enter the person's information and then send the person an invitation to connect - just be sure to use the same email your mom has associated with her My Disney Experience account. If you choose to enter the guest's info, you may need to select the guest's age to see the option to send an email or manage all plans for that guest. If you are already connected with your mom in My Disney Experience, go to the My Family & Friends list, find her name and then click on Update to check your sharing settings. Select to share All My Plans if you have not already selected that sharing setting. If your brother does not have an account, he can create his own and then you can connect with him through My Disney Experience. With my children, I just added them in My Family & Friends and selected the option to manage their plans.

Once you book a vacation package and/or buy theme park tickets, you can link that package and/or tickets in My Disney Experience. After you log into My Disney Experience, just go to My Plans and then click on Add More Plans. We prefer to book a vacation package with theme park tickets and one of the Disney Dining Plans. Since we typically stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, we make our advanced dining reservations 180 days prior to our trip for our entire stay (up to 10 days) and we make our FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to our visit. Even when we have traveled with extended family, I made everyone's dining reservations and FastPass+ plans!

Madilyn, be sure to check the Special Offers for the dates of your visit to be sure you get the best deal and check the park hours for the dates of your visit before you make your advanced dining reservations. Also, remember to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App if you have not done so already. We use it to modify plans while we are in the parks!

Sending pixie dust as you plan!

    Magic and memories,
