will a mobiity scooter 70 in in length be allowed

Hey howdy hey, Patty and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Whether by plane, train, car, foot, or scooter, Mickey wants all of his special Guests to enjoy the "Happiest Place on Earth." I am so glad you asked this question because you need to feel comfortable as you cruise down Main Street, U.S.A. and along Pixar Pier.

After speaking with three ECV rental companies and four Cast Members, the opinion is that there is no limit to the length for Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV). Please note that electric conveyance vehicles may not have any trailer-like object needed to be pulled or towed. The only towing should be at Tow Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and believe it, there is a whole lotta towin' goin' on there.

However, Disneyland Resort does have guidelines for wheeled mobility devices but does not specify which devices. Specifically, these devices must be manually or electrically powered, single rider and not exceed 36" (92 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. I suggest contacting both Disability Services at Disability.Services@DisneyParks.com and Guest.Services@disneyland.com with your specific make and model of ECV. They will be able to give you a definitive answer before your trip in June.

Disney Dad Tip: May I make a suggestion? There are several areas around Disneyland Park that are narrow and the more nimble you can be the better your experience. Even walking through New Orleans Square, parts of Adventureland, and in and out of Tomorrowland under the old PeopleMover track can feel tight at times. The ECV rentals at the Disneyland Resort are shorter and should help you roll through the theme parks like my favorite character from Disney•Pixar's Cars, Lightning McQueen, instead of his trusted friend, Mack.

Patty, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
