My 19 mo daughter has multiple food protein allergies: milk, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and oats. I noticed you have a special allergy menu but since she is allergic to so many things, there aren't options for her. Can I bring food for her? TY!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon!

As the mom to a little one with multiple food allergies, I know the challenges involved with managing allergies on vacation. I think you will find there are many options for your daughter during your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. The Special Dietary Requests team is a really helpful resource for planning your trip while managing your daughter's specific allergies. While the allergy menus are a helpful tool, they are not the complete picture for family's with multiple food allergies. All quick service locations have binders with ingredient menus available for you to use with the manager or chef to determine a safe option for your daughter. While I have found that options at quick service locations are more limited, table service restaurants have had many safe options for my little guy. We have had really amazing meals where the chef has gone out of his or her way to make sure my son has a safe and tasty meal and that he doesn't feel left out of the experience, at all. We always try to enjoy at least one table service meal as it s really a special treat for him to be able to eat so smoothly in a restaurant!

You are also welcome to bring food for her during your trip. Food cannot be heated while you are in the parks, so plan on bringing things like sandwiches, applesauce, crackers and safe treats for her! Your cooler or bag must be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high and your food cannot be in a glass container. I like to bring safe treats for my son, such as safe fruit snacks, cookies and candy as those options can often be difficult to find.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as I would love to help you continue to plan your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
