Going to MNSSHP do I need a park ticket for the day or just the special event ticket, if that is all we are planning on doing that day.

    Hi Michelle!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear that you are planning on enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It is definitely my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom. I love the exclusive entertainment, tasty treats and the "not-so-scary" atmosphere. Plus, there's nothing better than trick-or-treating in Magic Kingdom! Your special event ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will allow you entry into Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 p.m. and you can stay in the park for the duration of the party, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. You do not need to purchase a standard theme park ticket unless you would like to enter Magic Kingdom prior to 4:00 p.m.

I think it is a great idea to plan on focusing your day on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and not entering a theme park early than your party tickets allow. I have found that if I plan on spending the morning of the party sleeping in, enjoying the dining and recreation at our Disney Resort hotel and relaxing, then my family has more energy at the end of the day to enjoy the tricks and treats at the party.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
