We're going to MK for a week for my daughter's Sweet 16 and she wants to meet as many Characters as possible. We have a reservation for Cinderella's Table but I'm looking for timing tips for how to plan other meets.

    Hi Stephanie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love that you are celebrating your daughter's sixteenth birthday by visiting Walt Disney World and meeting as many characters as you can!

You are well on your way by having a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. Character dining is a great way to meet lots of characters with little wait. I suggest that you plan some other character dining experiences as well, perhaps ones with characters other than the princesses if you are looking to meet a wide variety of characters. You might try Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort to meet Mickey Mouse and his friends in their chef garb, or The Garden Grill at Epcot, where Chip and Dale host a harvest feast.

My second recommendation for you is that you use your Disney FastPass+ selections to choose character meeting. Disney FastPass+ selections allow you to choose access to certain Disney attractions with little to no wait. These can be used for rides, shows, fireworks...and character meetings! At Magic Kingdom, you can make Disney FastPass+ selections to meet Anna and Elsa or Cinderella and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall, Mickey Mouse or Tinker Bell at Town Square Theater, or Ariel at her Grotto. You can also use a FastPass+ selection to meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot at Epcot or at the Adventurers Outpost at Disney's Animal Kingdom. In order to make Disney's FastPass+ selections before you leave for vacation, you will need to have a My Disney Experience account.

Please do note that character appearances are subject to change.

Between a few character dining reservations and a few Disney FastPass+ selections for character meetings, I think you and your daughter will be able to meet many characters, Stephanie!
