Going to be at MK on NYE and have reservations at 1900 Park Fare for an early 4:00 dinner. Do you suggest monorail and what time do you think we should depart?

    Hi Linnea!

Congratulations on scoring a fantastic dining experience at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  Having had the opportunity to enjoy the buffet and the character meet and greet on several occasions, I can say that you and your family will love it.  The ambiance is just gorgeous, and the buffet offered is quite delicious.

As you will be traveling to the parks on one of the busiest days of the year, your best bet for the GF would be via monorail.  It is much faster, and can transport guests at a higher rate than bus transport.  At the time you've chosen to go, the monorail should (and I stress the SHOULD) be less crowded than morning to midday or evening, but as it will be New Years Eve, it can be a bit unpredictable.  Make sure you budget at minimal 45 minutes for any transfer between resorts and theme parks.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
