We are going to be at MK on Nov. 8th. I bought tickets to the MVMCP but told my children I didn't - I want it to be a surprise the day of. When do you need to show your tickets for the party? Can I keep it a surprise all of that day?

    Welcome Home, Traci!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and sending us your holly jolly question about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Your children are in for real holiday treat by being a part of Mickey’s merriest celebration. You must be so excited about surprising them!

Yes, you will be able to keep it a surprise all day. You will not be required to wear your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party wristbands until 7:00 PM which is the official “start time” of the party! I suggest sneaking away a little earlier to exchange your special event tickets for party wristbands. These wristbands must be worn the entirety of the party and act as proof that you have purchased a party ticket and can remain in the park. You can also do so when you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park that day. If you feel you may run the risk of ruining the surprise, you can wait to do so until right before the party begins.

Traci, I wish you and your family a very merry vacation. I hope your surprise is everything you wish it to be! If you have any more questions or require further clarification please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again.
