    Kimberly from MD Asked

Hello! Is there a MK ferry direct to FtW, and approx. how long is the ride? Planning for the HDDR in November. Thank you!

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us this great question.

You will absolutely LOVE the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. After exiting Magic Kingdom Park, head down to the dock and board the Walt Disney World® Water Transportation launch going to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The ride itself is anywhere between 13-15 minutes long, but you need to plan on waiting for the water taxi to arrive too. Wait time between boats is typically 10-20 minutes. I would recommend leaving Magic Kingdom Park at least 45 minutes before your reservation just to be on the safe side.

The boat dock at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is only a short walk from Pioneer Hall, which is where the dinner show takes place. Depending on the time of the reservation, you may wish to inquire when the last water taxi of the evening will be departing from the dock at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. However, even if you miss the last boat, don't worry! The buses will be running one hour after park closing, and you will be able to take a bus to the Transportation and Ticket Center. So you may wish to plan accordingly.

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
