    Pat from IN Asked

Missy, Taking 2 adult friends from Africa to DWrld 4-21pm & 4-22-20 day. Having not been to DW for quite a while. Wondering if you might suggest what to see/do in that short time frame and how we can do it economically (passes/rides/hotel etc)

Greetings, Pat, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My dear friend Missy is not an active Panelist this year, but I spoke to her this morning, and she gave me her blessings to help you plan a magical vacation this year!

Since you're bringing two special guests from Africa, Mickey and I suggest visiting Magic Kingdom Park on one of your two days. Make sure you get an iconic Cinderella Castle picture. I love using Disney PhotoPass Service to snap those perfect vacation memories, and there is an option to purchase Memory Maker One Day when you arrive. However, PhotoPass Photographers are always happy to take pictures on your mobile device, free of charge! I recommend any and all attractions in this theme park, but my favorites are the classic ones that have Walt's personal touch, such as Pirates of the Carribean, Haunted Mansion, "it's a small world," and Hall of Presidents. If staying on property, you can make your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your trip on your My Disney Experience account. The best finale to any day is the nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After. If you're up for a splurge, consider booking a Fireworks Dessert Party, which will give you the perfect view of the show!

Touring Epcot would be a fantastic way to spend your second day, and you'll be traveling at the perfect time to experience the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Park is all abloom with brilliant gardens and topiaries of beloved Disney characters. Your friends will love getting an aerial tour around the globe on Soarin' Around the World. Other "Do Not Miss" suggestions include Spaceship Earth (which may close for refurbishment later this year) and Living with the Land.

You can save some money by skipping the Park Hopper Passes, and going with Standard Theme Park Tickets for each of you instead. For a budget-friendly hotel, I suggest Disney's Pop Century Resort, and there is currently a Special Offer if you book your rooms by February 26. As an alternative, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a popular choice among guests wanting a moderately priced option. Both of these resorts are conveniently located by the Disney Skyliner, which is a new state-of-the-art gondola system!

I hope this helps, Pat! Please write back if there's anything else we can do!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
