Are the 16 minutes pace times strictly enforced for the Disney Family 5ks? How much time should we allot to the expo packet pickup? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Christy!  Because of the 5K's often running through parks where a schedule must be kept, they will have the "sweepers" at the end of the 5K race maintaining that 16/minute per mile pace.  However, there will be several starting corrals for the 5K, with the stroller division being last.  So, the 16/minute mile pace will start with the last race starter.  If you are worried about the pace, position yourself as close to the front of your corral as possible to allow you some extra time.  The first corrals are reserved for the faster runners for safety reasons, but you can always put yourself at the front of whatever corral you are in.
As for the expo, the packet pick-up and t-shirt pickup usually takes no more than thirty minutes depending on crowd level.  It is always extremely organized and the lines move very quickly.  HOWEVER, there is also an expo with lots of vendors that you can browse through.  That can take as little or as long as you want.  If I am by myself, I tend to shop for an hour or two.  If my family is with me, then I allow myself at least 30-45 minutes of shopping around.  There is plenty to see and do, and my husband and children always enjoy looking around at the different "shops"!  They generally manage to find some things that they "need" too!
Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you!  Thanks!
