    Another military question. We have purchased the military discount tickets through our nearby base. May I register those tickets to My Disney Experience and have them attached to my magic bands? Will I still need to bring a hard copy to the parks at WDW

    Hi Alice!

    My husband and I always purchase our U.S. Military discounted theme park tickets on post for our trips to the Walt Disney World Resort, so we have been through this process a few times!

    When you purchase your tickets from a military base ticket office, you are given ticket vouchers.  You can link these ticket vouchers to your My Disney Experience account either online or on the My Disney Experience mobile app so that you can begin making plans like selecting your FastPass+ experiences when your booking window arrives!  Just follow the instructions to find the correct numbers you will need to link your tickets.

    That being said, to actually enter the parks, you will have to activate your tickets.  You can do this at any ticketing window or Guest Relations location.  You will just need your physical ticket vouchers and a valid U.S. Military ID to activate the tickets!  A Cast Member will take your ticket vouchers and give you hard card tickets.  You can then use these or your MagicBand for the remainder of the trip, as long as everything is properly linked to your My Disney Experience account!
