Is there a military discount if so how much

    Hi Brittany,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

As an Air Force (retired) spouse, I'd like to offer my thanks to you and yours for your military service!

There are military discounts available for several things during your upcoming stay. The most notable-theme park tickets! The Military Promotional Tickets offer a significant discount on 4-Day and 5-Day park hopper tickets; water parks may be added for a nominal fee to ensure you can experience all the fun while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. I suggest purchasing these special tickets at Shades of Green, as you will not pay Florida sales tax at this venue.  These tickets are also available at every theme park ticket window, but you will pay sales tax.  Valid military ID is required and each military member is limited to six tickets only.

There is also a discount on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms (subject to availability) for military members.  To take advantage of these discounted rooms, you must call the friendly Cast Members at the link I've included above to access this deal.

Lastly, Brittany, the Walt Disney World Resort has historically offered discounts to military members on special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you want to take advantage of this special offer, please visit Ghost Relations at the Magic Kingdom to purchase these special tickets.

Please stop by and visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
