    Tiffani Asked

My MIL has MS and needs a wheelchair. She's never been to a Disney park &we'd love to take her to Disneyland. Is there info on which rides don't require a transfer or are accessible for those with difficulty?

    Hi there Tiffani,

I am so excited to hear that your mother in law will be making her first visit to Disneyland!  Please assure her that Disneyland prides itself on being extremely accessible to those with mobility disabilities and many attractions don't even require a transfer!  Be sure to visit City Hall when you arrive to discuss her situation with a cast member who specializes in providing assistance to those who may need it!

In the meantime, you can visit the Disneyland Mobility Disabilities webpage for lots of information!  It even lists the attractions and divides them into accessibility categories for you so you can determine which ones will require transfers!

Please feel free to contact me again if I can answer any additional questions!  You guys are gonna have a blast!
