I am in the middle of planning a trip to WDW for 15 family members. Any tips on how to get the dining reservations I want? I have split our group in the past and then just requested tables near each other. Should I go that route again?

    Hi, there!

John, I'm so excited to hear about the vacation you're planning. My family of 14 enjoyed a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago, and we had a positively magical stay!

I was in charge of making dining reservations for our large party, and I'll admit I was a bit worried. Luckily, I had no trouble getting all the dining reservations I hoped to, including a dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table! I was easily able to make most of dining reservations online, but a few restaurants, like Sanaa and San Angel Inn Restaurante, were not able to process an online reservation for all 14 of us. In those instances, I simply called the dining reservation line at (407) 939-1947. A friendly Cast Member made those particular reservations for me over the phone! My best advice is to call the dining reservation number, rather than split your party up, for the reservations you can't complete online. That way, you can be sure your party will be seated together!

My very best tip for traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a large group? Purchase Memory Maker prior to your arrival. With Memory Maker, you can keep all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos for your entire family to enjoy for years to come.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
