Since Mickeys Halloween Party has been replaced by Oogie Boogie Bash. Will there still be trick or treating for the kids?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie, and thanks for your spook-tacular question!

Here at the Moms Panel, we are so excited for the debut of Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park! It is taking the place of Mickey’s Halloween Party, but I’m thrilled to let you know that there will still be plenty of trick-or-treating! In fact, Oogie’s Bash will even include Immersive Treat Trails, featuring themed décor, eerie music, and the Villains themselves! From what I’ve heard, Oogie Boogie and the Mad Hatter will be overseeing the festivities from their thrones… this, I can’t wait to see! Guests can also visit candy cauldrons at treat stations located throughout the park. So, there will be plenty of chances for Guests of all ages to tempt their sweet tooth this fall!

Oogie Boogie Bash Guests will be allowed to enter Disney California Adventure Park up to four hours before the event begins. There are a few other new experiences to check out, including the World of Color show, Villainous!, Mickey’s Trick & Treat stage show, and even a Descendants-inspired dance party!

    Here are the dates of Oogie Boogie Bash 2019: Sept. 17, Sept. 19, Sept. 22, Sept. 24, Sept. 26, Sept. 29, Oct. 1, Oct. 3, Oct. 6, Oct. 8, Oct. 10, Oct. 13, Oct. 15, Oct. 17, Oct. 20, Oct. 22, Oct. 24, Oct. 27, Oct. 29 and Oct. 31.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 30, 2019. However, if you’re an Annual Passholder, tickets are available now! You can purchase them online, or by calling (714) 781-INFO or (714) 781-4636. I highly recommend purchasing tickets as early as you can, since this event usually sells out.

Wishing you frightful family fun at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
