Hi We have Mickey Xmas Party Tickets can you get fastpasses on these tickets. Also the MK park closes at 4pm and reopens at 7pm do we have to leave the Magic Kingdom at 4pm and then return at 7pm or can we stay in the park as we have dinner booked at 3.15

Hello, Tracy! I'm so happy that you got tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World. We've also got tickets to go this December and I can't wait.

The Magic Kingdom doesn't exactly 'close down', meaning not everyone is made to leave and re-enter through the gates. Usually starting around 4p.m. you will see people starting to arrive for the Christmas party even though it technically starts at 7p.m. Also, all of the regular day guests without the special event ticket should be making their way out of the park around this time. Its a busy time of people coming and going. You can certainly stay in the park and take your time to enjoy your dinner. Before Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts you will have to go and retrieve your special party armband at the front of the entrance. If you do not have the armband you will be asked to leave. Cast Members check for armbands often after the party starts to ensure that only people with special event tickets are able to enjoy the festivities.

FastPass+ selections, are not available once Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has started. Only a limited number of tickets are sold, and so there is really no need for the FastPass+ system. In the previous years that I have been, attraction wait times have rarely been over 20 minutes, and many are walk-on during this special event. If you are planning on being at Magic Kingdom all day before the Christmas party, you can use FastPass+ system all the way up until Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts.

I hope this helps, and I wish you a magical holiday vacation!
