Walt Disney World Halloween

We will be going to Mickey Not so Scary Halloween party. I know there no fast past during the event but do they still do switch pass for families with younger children? My youngest might be to small for some of rides where my two oldest will not.

John, you're going to have a frightfully good time on your trip to Walt Disney World Resort this fall! Wait until you you see how BOOtiful the Magic Kingdom Park decorations are! Main Street U.S.A. is decked out in festive orange and yellow bunting, with dozens of smiling pumpkins (by the way, the jack-o’-lanterns are carved with a theme that matches each shop, so take time to notice the little details).

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my family's favorite special ticketed event, and it's great for Guests all ages. Even though it officially starts at 7:00 PM, get there early, as Cast Members typically start letting party Guests in at 4:00 PM. You are correct that FastPass+ is not available during the party- luckily, there is less need for it as many Guests are enjoying the party activities. Feel free to use Rider Switch as much as you like during the evening, especially on attractions like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Simply have your entire family approach the attraction entrance and talk to the Cast Member. Those in the second riding party will have their MagicBands scanned to add the Rider Switch entitlement to their My Disney Experience account.

Be sure to save some time for some of the evening's other festivities, too! Trick-or-Treating is always sweeter in the Magic Kingdom, where they have 15 locations. There are also some rarely seen Disney baddies, like Cruella DeVil and Jafar roaming the Park. But the best part of the night is the Boo-to-You Parade, which happens twice each evening. The hair raising ride by the Headless Horseman is quite a sight!

Have a spooktacular time on your trip, John!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
