    What are mickey check meals?

    Hey Donna!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about Walt Disney World Resort menu options that include the Mickey Check symbol.

Walt Disney World Resort food and meal choices that receive the Mickey Check must meet Disney Nutrition Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar. The Mickey Check helps your family find nutritious options while dining at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants and theme parks. When you see the Mickey Check you will know that you are making healthy and tasty choices!

Kids’ Complete Meals that feature the Mickey Check symbol must include at least three of the following food groups: fruits and vegetables; low-fat dairy; whole grains or lean protein, beans, eggs and nuts.

You will find the Mickey Check next to specific items at Walt Disney World Resort restaurant menus. You can even find the Mickey Check on various Disney-licensed food products at local grocery stores and many of your favorite online retailers.

Donna, if you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
