I have a metal Epcot Center special edition commemorative ticket issued in October 1982 it is a 3 day world adventure ticket. I was told when I showed it to a friend that these tickets are supposed to be good forever. Could this be true?

    Hello Yvonne,

I must say "congratulations" on owning such a collectible item!  I am a huge fan of Disney collectibles myself and I was curious as to why you would even want to use something so "special"?  I did find out that Walt Disney World Resort will continue to honor all tickets purchased prior to the announcement of the new pricing structure that began on January 2, 2005. Here is the link that specifies this in writing.  So, if it is a legitimate Park Admission ticket that originally could have been used to enter the parks, then yes, it would still be valid.  May I suggest that you hold on to it though, as it sounds very special, and one day may be worth a lot of money!!!!

    Have a great day!
