We have a 9:30 am mermaid makeover at Pirates League, and then an 11:15 reservation at 1900 Park Fair. Will we have enough time to not feel rushed at Pirates Leage and enjoy the experience, and still make it on time to PF? Should we change reservations?

    Hi Kimberly,

Your little mermaid is going to have such fun getting her special makeover at Pirates League. I have always been so impressed with what they can do to make it such a magical experience for the kids.

On average, the makeovers at Pirates League take about 30-45 minutes. So, even if you don't start right at 9:30, you should still be done by about 10:15 or 10:30am. This should allow you plenty of time to walk to the front of Magic Kingdom and catch a resort monorail to Grand Floridian. This could take you about 10-15 minutes on the monorail (not including waiting time for monorail). You can also take a boat from the resort boat launch in front of Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian. This might take slightly less time since the monorail makes 3 stops before arriving at the Grand Floridian, whereas the boat goes directly to the Grand Floridian.

If you are still concerned with feeling rushed, you can always try switching your reservation to a slightly later time if there is availability.

I hope you all have a magical day and scrumptious lunch.
