We measured my son with a tape measure, & he is 40 1/2 inches barefoot. Hoping he can ride rides with a 40" or taller requirement? Any advice? Just wondering for booking fastpasses because we don't want to upset him by riding rides he can't (rider

    Welcome back, Nancy!

I remember when my little Jedi was tall enough to experience his first plunge into the briar patch at Splash Mountain! We did plenty of measuring and practicing standing "tall" before that vacation. My suggestion is to measure your son again--this time wearing the shoes he plans to wear during your vacation. This measurement should help to guide you in deciding which FastPass+ experiences to reserve. Also, take a look at this recent Disney Parks Blog Post for a complete list of attraction height requirements. The information is organized by theme park and gives a great visual of what attractions your son will be able to experience.

I hope this helps to answer your questions, and your son has a magical time now that he is tall enough to experience attractions such as Star Tours–The Adventures Continue and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Let us know if other questions arise as you are planning your visit.

    Have a magical day!
