How much are meals inside the parks?

    Hi Nicole,

The price of meals inside the parks are similar to those at typical chain restaurants.  It becomes expensive because all of your meals are being eaten out.

Throughout the theme parks and the resorts you will find a variety of counter service establishments.  You can get hot breakfasts for less than $10 and cold breakfasts for under $5.  The lunch and dinner options are anything from salads to burgers to roasted chicken.  Its easy to get a lunch and dinner for under $15.  I often save money by buying a kids meal for myself at lunchtime.  A few of the counter service restaurants sell turkey wraps or salads with chicken on their kids menu.  You also get a small fountain soda and two sides.  You'll be surprised by how much food you get for $5-$7.

The table service meals can vary greatly depending on what you order and where you eat.  If you order a simple sandwich you may be able to stay within $15-$20 per adult.  I would say my family usually spends about $25 per adult on lunch and $35 per person for dinner.  We spend about the same when we eat at restaurants in our hometown.

If you are curious about pervious menu prices, you can do a web search for Disney dining menus.  You may be able to find unofficial websites that talk about the restaurants at WDW.  Just remember that the prices and the meal options may differ when you visit WDW, but at least you'll have a better idea of what to expect.

    Hope that helped - Michelle
