On meal plan with mug. One day on our stay I want to visit many hotels for future planning visits. Can I use my mug at the other resorts when I visit for a drink or only my resort? If I really like a resort could I see a room?.

    Hi Chris!

Walt Disney World is home to many spectacular resorts and there is certainly one to fit every taste and budget.  One of my favorite things to do outside of the parks, is to dine at different resorts and take a leisurely stroll around the grounds.  Here's a bit of great news, you can in fact use your refillable resort mug at any quick-service location at a Disney owned resort.  In previous years guests could only use refillable mugs at the resort where they were staying, but with Disney's new Rapid Refill system these mugs give you a lot more flexibility.

I did some checking with a Cast Member who is a friend of mine to see if it was possible to tour a Disney Resort room, but due to the popularity of the certain resorts it may not be possible.  She did suggest to double check with the front desk, especially if you are visiting a particular resort during a time when less check-ins and check-outs are happening.  Although it is not the same as seeing it in person, I would take a look at the many photos and videos of Disney Resort rooms that can be found online, there are literally thousands of them!  Also, if you haven't already make sure to order your free Disney Vacation Planning DVD as it will also have a great look at each of Disney's Resorts.

I hope this helps, Chris and please visit with me again if you have anymore questions!

    Happy Planning!
